Projects
KING/CHAVEZ SCHOOL MURAL PROJECT
We will aid in repainting the entire school and putting up some mural designs that the local kids came up with. Join us on Monday nights to help with the preliminaries, or sign up to be part of the painting crew. On Saturday, Nov. 22nd we will paint the basecoat and design outlines from 8am to 5pm. On Saturday, Dec. 6th we will color in the designs from 8am to 5pm. We need LOTS of volunteers for this, so if you would like to help, please contact us here.

As a part of Toys For Joy 2008, this will be stage one of a two stage project. We are helping to repaint the entire school and to get some murals up on their walls. In the early part of the day we will basecoat all of the walls. In the afternoon we will work on transferring the mural design outlines up onto the walls. Coloring in the designs will take place on Saturday December 6th. We need lots of volunteers for this - especially anyone good at graffitti. THE GRAFFITI WALL PROJECT
A Continuously Changing Mural
Graffiti artists and muralists are invited to participate in this community transformation project. It begins with a 10 x 16 foot wall that will continuously undergo redesign. As a team, we will discuss and implement ideas and images, reworking this constantly evolving mural for the glory of God's kingdom. All skill levels from beginner to seasoned pro will be able to contribute. Once the team and its dynamic are established, we will begin to tackle other locations throughout the San Diego community.
All supplies and materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you wish to contribute.
Random Saturday and Sunday afternoons from noon-3pm at Calvary Southern Baptist Church, Linda Vista. 6866 Linda Vista Rd, San Diego, CA 92111.
