About Us

The heart of our mission is to build a community of people interested in the arts who want to use their gifts and talents to serve and minister to one another, the body of Christ, and the community at large. Our goals include raising up believers in Christ through studying God's word, improving our skills and crafts through teaching and learning from one another, and creating opportunities to use our gifts and talents to serve the church and our community. We have a weekly meeting every Monday night for fellowship, time in the word, networking, practice, planning, and creativity. We also plan field trips and outings to local arts and entertainment events. We believe that regular fellowship is the key to community.

Through the friendships we develop, we inspire and motivate one another with ideas for shows, events and projects that help us achieve our goals. Teamwork then becomes a natural by-product of the relationships we have built. Working together, we have put on shows and events that serve artists by giving them exposure and an opportunity to share their gifts and talents. These events also serve the community by providing a clean, safe, drug and alcohol free venue for entertainment and inspiration. They further serve the church by acting as a platform where faith in God through Jesus Christ may be expressed through the arts in a way that is not threatening or invasive. Artistic expressions of our individual experiences with our own relationship with God can speak to both believers and non-believers in ways that more conventional platforms simply cannot.

Past events we have put together include bonfire beach parties, rock concerts, art shows with bands, dancers, DJs and spoken word artists, fine art performance events, drum circles, open jam sessions, a magic show, and a monthly free open mic night. We have also scheduled many of our performers to share their talents in local church services and gathered small teams to participate in other local events.

Another way that we serve together is through various art related projects. Ongoing projects within our ministry include maintenance of our website and development of promotional materials for our events. We have painted several murals for local churches, completed several sign painting projects for other ministries, created backdrop paintings for drama skits, and helped with a variety of other community service related projects.
